My Music
I'd love for you to learn about and listen to some of my music and the style I created called "California Red Rock Music". From the Red Sun Up album, most of my songs were written in California and Colorado.
Saw the Flight was written after I witnessed the amazing sight of a comet while camping in the desert with my brother Blue. Please click here to read more about what inspired the song and for the lyrics. You will learn about a man who looked up at a bright star and saw it move out of place; jetting through the nighttime sky of Palm Springs, CA in 1978.

Jane Kingsley Blues was written about a woman who was very important in my life for many years but who eventually broke my heart.

Woods Day Sky
Woods Day Sky, with it's single "Frisco to Santa Cruz" was written one fall day as I was walking home from the hotel I worked at, the Host Farm Corral in Lancaster, PA. There are over ten verses to this song.
These recordings are still in production. .
Red Sun Up
Red Sun Up is the album that contains the above singles plus several more songs. It is still a work in progress and I hope you keep returning to hear the new additions.
It started in San Francisco when I came up with the music at the park in front of the Hastings Hotel. That night my brother Blue and I were playing on the corner about 11:30 pm when the nearby orchestra ended the evening's performance.
We were happily surprised when a woman took her cello out of its case and began playing with us. It was a wonderful night for music!
The tips were good and she graciously told us to keep them. We thanked her and wished her well as she walked off into the night, not realizing how much she had enriched our evening.
But I did. I decided that night to put this album together, along with eleven other songs. The song Red Sun Up is about a drunken driving accident.
