My Artwork
I also design artwork for album covers:
Saw The Flight
This cover is an amalgum of three different designs that I put together. The original artist, Tony Gregory, put together two different album covers and (Buddy) Salaris Gregory had the picture of the boy.
He agreed to send them to me from his business, Art Attack in Key West, FL.
I put them together and came up with the end results.
Woods Day Sky
I was visiting my friend James at his parent's cabin on the lake. They held many music, art and dance festivals there, at a place they called Furgerson Hollow.
Jim saw me at the old wooden table trying to come up with a cover for my second single, Woods Day Sky, and asked me what I was trying to get on paper.
I told him that I wanted sunlight coming through the trees when you were looking up in the forest.
Jim had some of his watercolor supplies close by and in three minutes he came up with the artwork. He later designed the calligraphy.
Red Sun Up
Roger Shony from Schenectady NY was the artist for Uncle Fuzzy's Deli. Fifteen years after losing touch I looked him up and he graciously offered to help me with this design – an album cover with a yellow background, a white sun in the center and the words Red Sun Up in block lettering.
I created the rest of the cover some time later, putting a starship at the center of the sun.
