Welcome
My name is Garrick Ruggeiro and I play the acoustic guitar. My career started about an hour after I was born when my older brother put a guitar across me as I lay in my mother's arms. The whole family was surprised when I suddenly began strumming along with a rockabilly song on the radio. I didn't begin singing along for another week though because it took a while to learn the words.
I spent most of my 20s and 30s out in California and Colorado, especially enjoying the Red Rock Amphitheater in Colorado; in the outdoors, high in the Rockies, nature a glorious stage. After a few years out west I came up with my own original sound: California Red Rock Music.
I later became a caretaker for many years on small lakefront properties and campgrounds. I also became a chef after many years of working in restaurants and managing many of the kitchens in them. I am well-known in the Lake George area, still playing my original style of music.
Aside from playing Carnegie Hall, I’ve also played Cafe Paradise, Red Barrel Pub, The Dog Bar, Mike’s Sports Pub, UMass Amherst, Bart’s Cafe and Lamprey Biver Tavern, just to name a few.
